The Department of Sociology offers courses in sociology and social studies for B.A.
(General & Honours), M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. It also services a number of other
faculties.
Sociology currently features very prominently in B.Ed. courses provided by the Faculty of
Education, which has recruited its own sociologists.
